Lace pattern with pre-pricked pinholes and hand-drawn emphasis lines where thicker thread is to be used, for Chantilly lace making. The large Chantilly shawls were made in strips later joined with the same thread as on the bobbins, making the join invisible. When a joining thread is damaged, the strips get separated neatly.
